SURACHAI "CHAI"
SIRISUTE
Surachai was the founder and President
of the Thai Boxing Association of the USA, which now has affiliated
groups in Mexico, Europe, Australia, and elsewhere. He has been
promoting Muay Thai since 1982, and now travels around the world
to teach in Muai Thai seminars.
PHITASNU KUSOLWONG
Phitasnu has demonstrated Muay Thai and Krabi Krabong in the
first International Arts and Culture Fair in Germany. He has
a 5th dan in the World Taekwondo Federation, was the first person
in Thailand awarded a black belt in Hapkido, and has also studied
judo and karate. He currently teaches sports and martial arts
at schools and gyms around Bangkok and is a member of the Taekwondo
Association of Thailand.
KRIDAKORN SODPRASERT
Kridakorn, also known as Khru Lek, is devoted to the
fostering of Thai culture. He makes traditional Thai puppets,
and teaches Thai art, dance, and Ancient Muay, especially
Muay Chiya.
CHAICHALERM NAKSAWART
Chaichalerm has a 4th dan in Taekwondo, and a 1st dan in Hapkido.
He is specializing in Ancient Muay, and now teaches at
the Martial Arts Taekwondo Academy and the Pro Martial Arts
Center in Bangkok.
SAWANG SAWANGKAWAT
Sawang is a professional Muay Thai writer. He was the director
of the "Boxing" magazine, and the founder and executive
director of the "Yod Nak Soo" and "Fighter"
periodicals.
APIWAT SEINALOY
Apiwat was the chairman of the Sports Reporters Association
of Thailand. He currently writes a daily Muay Thai column for
the "Siam Rath" newspaper.
